Miranda Morrissette

My name is Miranda Morrissette,

I am a current senior at Wright State University in my last semester before earning my BFA.  The first show I was ever a part of was a production of "Really Rosie" in elementary school, I played Rosie and I haven't shut up since. My love for performing has only continued to grow during my time at Wright State and I cannot wait to see where it takes me next!

My favorite stories to tell are ones that feel lived-in, honest, and down to earth. I love the feeling I get when telling a story to an audience that reminds them of their own lives and pushes them to think about it from a new perspective. I find myself most in characters who are fiercely loyal and deeply authentic—the 'girl next door' who brings a sense of joy and grounded innocence to every role. I want to tell stories that feel like home, stories that remind people to be kind and to hold onto hope.
